Dimitri Kunsishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, met the Deputy Managing Director of International Monetary Fund Tao Zhang.
“We asked the International Monetary Fund full support in setting up a credit guarantee fund. IMF will work together with us in this direction and I am sure we will achieve quite a good result”, - said Dimitri Kumsishvili, the First Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development after the meeting with the Deputy Managing Director of IMF Tao Zhang.
The meeting was held during the Georgian governmental delegation’s visit to the US.
According to the First Vice Prime Minister, the conversation with the IMF Deputy Managing Director touched Georgia’s economic development in both sectoral and fiscal terms. Current and future reforms were also stressed.
