International tourist numbers down by 75% in 2021 compared to 2019. According to the National Tourism Administration, a total of 57,728 international tourists visited the country last month. The reduction amounts to 175,000.
The decline in tourism totaled to 90-95% in previous months, while it averaged to 75% in March.
Regular air traffic in Georgia resumed from February 1, 2020, however, there was no significant increase in tourist numbers. Most of the visitors (73%) came to the country by land in February.

2. Georgia (non-resident) - 7 241 visitors, decrease of 62,7% compared to the previous year;
3. Armenia - 5 656 visitors, decrease of 82.8% compared to the previous year;
4. Russia - 4,703 visitors, decrease of -85.7% compared to the previous year;
5. Azerbaijan - 4 226 visitors, decrease of 90.3% compared to the previous year;
6. Ukraine - 3,115 visitors, decrease of 60.1%compared to the previous year;
7. Uzbekistan - 1,873 visitors, decrease of 73.7% compared to the previous year;
8. Kazakhstan - 1,016 visitors, decrease of 43.9% compared to the previous year;
9. Iran - 841 visitors, decrease of 109.2% compared to the previous year;
10. Belarus - 759 visitors, decrease of 55.0% compared to the previous year;
11. Tajikistan - 531 visitors, a decrease of 26.7% compared to the previous year;
12. Israel - 530 visitors, decrease compared to the previous year -85.4%;
13. Germany - 409 visitors, decrease of 75.5% compared to the previous year;
14. US - 404 visitors, decrease of 63.8% compared to the previous year;
15. France - 322 visitors, decrease of 58.7% compared to the previous year.
