"Ipkli Digomi" plans to export the bread. As the director of the company, Nisan Iosebashvili, told bm.ge, the company is equipping the enterprise, after which the production will start and the bread will be sent to two countries - China and Israel.
As Iosebashvili says, the demand for their bread came from these two countries and partners are already waiting for the supply.
"Bread is more expensive in Europe than here, that's why there is a demand for our bread. We are working on equipping our plant, which is quite an expensive pleasure. We hope to start exporting late this year. Baked and then frozen bread will be sent from Georgia", said the director of "Ipkli Dighomi".
The founder of the company cannot yet specify the production volume for the exports, but he says that the export will start with a few containers at the initial stage.
"This is a novelty for the company, and how it works will appear gradually. I don't know the exact investment volume, but supposedly we will invest about GEL 1 million at the initial stage," said Nisan Iosebashvili.
In 2023, "Ipkli Digomi" bought a land area of 4092 sq.m, located on the airport road from the state for GEL 1,952,000, where part of the production is planned to be moved.
