According to the Embassy of Israel in Georgia, Israel moved Georgia from the so-called list of red countries to the group of orange countries.
According to the decision of the Israeli government, their citizens will still be able to travel to Georgia, but after returning to their homeland they will be subject to self-isolation or quarantine.
"We’re delighted to announce that as of yesterday the Israeli government no longer considers Georgia to be a ‘red country’ - but ‘orange’. That means Israeli tourists may now visit this beautiful country but be subjected to self-isolation (or quarantine) upon their return. The new status will take effect on 1st September," - said the embassy statement.
