Sparkling wine producer Istoria Wine has entered the Batumi market. The company’s co-founder, Anna Kaminskiene, spoke to BM.GE about this.
According to her, demand from the regions has been particularly high since the day they opened. However, timely transportation and delivery of the product during various holidays were challenges against the backdrop of increased demand.
Accordingly, the company decided to cooperate with a local wine boutique, which would allow customers to see and purchase the product on site physically.
“We went out to the region and partnered with one of the wine boutiques in Batumi. We had a mini presentation on February 3, and for several days now our sparkling wines have been available in Batumi as well.
Since the day we opened, we have had very high demand from Batumi and Kutaisi. Whether it’s New Year’s or Valentine’s Day, when demand increases, courier services have difficulty delivering orders on time. That’s why we wanted to have our own little corner in Batumi, where people could come and physically inspect the products. That’s why we decided to cooperate with a specific store,” said the co-founder of Istoria Wine.
Anna Kaminskiene also discusses future plans and states that regional expansion will continue. At the moment, the company is negotiating with two more regions of Georgia: Kutaisi and Zugdidi. She adds that they will probably enter these two regions in March.
The sparkling wine company ISTORIA WINE has been successfully operating on the market for the second year. The company produces sparkling wine in cooperation with one of the factories in Georgia.
