Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control declares that Georgia will receive vaccinated foreign visitors without restrictions, so the government will not pay attention to the origin of the vaccine while crossing the border.
"This issue was discussed at the Interagency Coordinating Council and it was decided that Georgia would receive fully vaccinated tourists (those who took two doses of vaccine). The vaccine with single injection may appear from spring, but current vaccines need two injections and so we get fully vaccinated people, without any restrictions," the NCDC head said.
