It is high time for the EU to sanction Illegitimate Ivanishvili and his cronies who rigged the October election and are now brutally cracking down on the Georgian people, - the chairman of the US Helsinki Commission, Congressman Joe Wilson (Republican Party) writes on his X page.
According to him, sadly, Hungary and Slovakia are misguidedly blocking sanctions.
“It is high time for the EU to sanction Illegitimate Ivanishvili and his cronies who rigged the October election and are now brutally cracking down on the Georgian people. Sadly, Hungary and Slovakia are misguidedly blocking sanctions. I urge these NATO allies to lift their block!”, he wrote.
