Finance Minister Ivan Machavariani declares, that it is difficult to say at this stage, whether regular air traffic resumes in Georgia from August or not. Respectively, the government has not yet set a specific date for the resumption of air traffic in the country.
"I can't tell you about it today [start of flights in August], when it exactly will start. I tell you why the air traffic has not opened yet and what analysis stands behind it. Finally, it can be re-opened selectively or under different control conditions," - said the Minister of Finance.
To remind, the borders of Georgia should be opened for international traffic on July 1, however, the date has been delayed.
