Legal firm J&T Consulting is expanding regionally, opening a new branch in Batumi in response to growing market demand. The Adjara office will be led by returning U.S.-based partner Nana Turmanidze, who joins the company with international experience.
Partner Simon Takashvili told BMGtv’s Business Weekly that the decision was driven by sharp growth in investment flows to the Adjara region in recent years, especially within the real estate sector. According to him, the firm’s experience showed a clear need for on-site presence, as 2025 has already seen an increase in more complex, including cross-border, transactions. He expects the Batumi branch to be fully operational and fully loaded with work by 2026.
The new office will provide businesses with full legal support across real estate transactions, international commercial relations, and dispute management, strengthening the firm’s reach in western Georgia.
J&T Consulting’s partners say the Batumi expansion marks a new stage of institutional and infrastructural growth, aligned with major economic projects underway in the country. The firm, founded in 2008, has focused exclusively on legal services for businesses since its inception.
