Hotel management company KA Group, which operates two properties in Gudauri, Quadrum Gudauri and Fine Chalets, expects an impressive 75% occupancy rate for February. The update was shared by the company’s Head of Marketing, Nina Chighladze, during her interview on BMGTV’s TV-program “Women’s Narrative.”
According to Chighladze, booking behavior in Gudauri has changed significantly compared to last year, with guests planning their trips much earlier.
“Last year, the majority of bookings were made at the last minute — just two or three days before arrival. Today, this picture has changed dramatically. As of now, our February occupancy is already organized at roughly 75%,” Chighladze noted.
She also highlighted a shift in cancellation trends. Guests now notify the company earlier if they need to cancel, and in most cases, they request a date change rather than fully canceling their reservation.
Chighladze emphasized that early bookings are particularly important for the hotel industry, as they allow companies to plan operations more effectively and make informed decisions regarding future investments.
