A new dairy brand, Kachreti Cheese, is preparing to enter the Georgian market with a range of labeled products, according to founder and farmer Mariam Gamtsemlidze.
After relocating from Tbilisi to Kakheti, Gamtsemlidze began dairy farming to produce healthy dairy products for her family. The business has since grown into a full-cycle operation that complies with HACCP and GlobalGAP standards for food safety and quality control.
The company plans to initially supply the HoReCa sector, including hotels and restaurants, before expanding into supermarket chains as production increases. Negotiations with hospitality businesses are already underway.
The brand’s product range currently includes Imeretian cheese, Sulguni, and Nadughi, with milk and matsoni expected to be added soon. Gamtsemlidze said the company will continue expanding its assortment throughout 2026, including plans to introduce European-style cheeses.
