Georgian dry fruit-producing brand "Kerki", offers its customers dried fruit, churchkhela and dried fruit leather for the last two years.
After the successful exports to the Baltic countries, the company "Kerki" plans to exploit the American market as well. Marketing and sales manager of "Kerki" Nino Resulidze spoke about the company's latest news with BMG.
"In addition to a strong position in the local market, our main goal is to export our products abroad. "Kerki" products are exported to the Baltic countries at the first stage. We have selected dried persimmons, dried mandarin and dried fruit leather for the exports. As for the latest news, at this stage we are negotiating with the American side, because we want "Kerki" to be available on the American market as well. We are actively working in this direction and the enterprise already has an FDA certificate, without which it cannot be exported to the American market", - noted Nino Resulidze.
"Kerki" enterprise was launched in 2021 and is located in the village of Dzentsmani in Keda. The company mainly employs local people. "Kerki" products can be purchased at the supermarket chains of "Goodwill", "Europroduct", "Waymart" and "Smart".
