Georgian company Keystone Agro has completed its 2026 blueberry harvest, collecting up to 800 tons from its 100-hectare orchard in Zeda Etseri, Samegrelo — double last year’s volume. Most of the crop was exported to Russia, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Dubai, India, Singapore and Hong Kong, while some was sold on the domestic market.
The company grows premium Fall Creek varieties, including Sekoya Grande, Sekoya Crunch, Duke and Top Shelf. It has also completed planting a new 70-hectare orchard in Ingiri, with more than 220,000 plants. The first harvest from this orchard is expected in 2027.
Keystone Agro is planning further expansion, with new orchards covering 15 hectares in Zeda Etseri and 90 hectares in the Tsalenjikha district. Both projects will feature Sekoya blueberry varieties, increasing the company’s cultivation area and production capacity.
The company says it aims to produce high-quality blueberries while adopting sustainable farming practices and minimizing environmental impact through cooperation with international agronomists. According to Georgia’s National Statistics Office, the country’s blueberry exports rose 41.4% this year to $65.4 million, with Russia, Germany and Armenia among the leading destinations.
