GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that Georgia is actively working to expand cooperation with countries across the globe, emphasizing the strategic importance of international partnerships. He made the remarks in an interview with TRT World.
Kobakhidze highlighted Georgia’s partnership with China, noting the free trade agreement and visa-free regime as key factors enhancing the country’s connectivity, economy, and political influence. “Deepened cooperation with China is very valuable to us,” he said, describing China as the only peaceful superpower in politics today.
Regarding other neighbors, Kobakhidze noted that Georgia maintains relations with Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, though relations with Iran have not been specially intensified. He emphasized that these partnerships contribute to Georgia’s regional stability and economic development.
GD Prime Minister concluded that Georgia’s global vision involves building strategic ties with multiple countries, leveraging trade agreements and diplomatic relationships to strengthen the nation’s economy and international standing.
