Irakli Kobakhidze has been nominated once again as the candidate for Prime Minister of Georgia.
Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream, announced at a briefing following the GD party’s political council meeting.
“As per our charter, the party’s Honorary Chairman has the authority to nominate the Prime Ministerial candidate. It may be no surprise that Bidzina Ivanishvili has nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the position. He was, of course, fully supported by the political council,” Mdinaradze stated.
