LLC "Poultry Georgia", one of the largest producers of eggs and chicken meat in Georgia, has published its financial report for 2022.
According to the document, during the last year, the total income of the company increased by GEL 3.5 million to GEL 38.7 million. However, despite the sales growth, the company's other expenses increased, so the net profit decreased from GEL 3.2 million to GEL 0.9 million.
As of the company's report, 60% of "Poultry Georgia's" ("Koda") income is generated from Tbilisi market, while the rest from other regions of the country. In addition, 25-30% of the egg sales market in Georgia accounts for Koda.
"The annual egg production capacity amounts to 110-115 million eggs. Currently, 80-85% of the production capacity is used. During the summer, a warehouse refrigerator designed for 3,600,000 eggs is used to store products, which is equipped with a modern computerized climate control system. The products are completely sold in the Georgian market.
The company sells its products in Tbilisi through its distribution service, and in the regions through exclusive distributors. The distribution service consists of 22 crews. The number of employees in Georgia Poultry LLC, for the current period, is 270 people," the company's management report says.
Company "Koda" is located in Lilo settlement. As of current data, the beneficial owner of the group is the joint-stock company "Poultry Georgia", which is registered in Cyprus.
The assets of the company amount to GEL 25.8 million.
