Kakhetian Traditional Winery (KTW) has invested $ 315,000 in solar power plant project, which will be arranged on the roof of a plant located in Patardzeuli.
The solar power plant will have an installed capacity of 448 kWh. Helios Energy Georgia started implementation of the project last summer and finished in January this year.
Zurab Chkhaidze, the founder and CEO of KTW Group, declares that this system will reduce the company's annual electricity consumption by 70%. The company already has 2 solar power plants in their hotels, Akhasheni Wine Resort & Spa and Orbeliani Residence Hotel. In the future, it is planned to arrange a solar power plant at the Manavi plant.
