Kvareli Lake Resort is expanding its international marketing efforts to China, India and the Gulf countries as part of a strategy to diversify its visitor base, according to the resort's Business Development Manager, Natia Sosiashvili.
Speaking to BMGTV, Sosiashvili said recent global events highlighted the risks of relying on a single source market. She noted that China has become a key focus following the reopening of outbound travel after the pandemic, although the company is still studying Chinese travelers' preferences to tailor its offerings.
The resort is also participating in international B2B tourism exhibitions and plans to strengthen cooperation with tour operators from China, India and the Gulf region.
According to Sosiashvili, reducing seasonality remains one of the company's main objectives. She added that the resort's repeat guest rate has increased by around 45%, which helped maintain business stability this year as many previous visitors returned.
