Lamazi Kosmetic is Korean personal care brand made from Kindzmarauli. The uniqueness of the Product lies in the fact that it is made from a 23 year old Limited edition Qvevri wine extract. Kindzmarauli wine, which is used in production of products, is made in Georgia. The brand offers Georgian customers hand and face cream, lotion, sunscreen and face serum. The product is available on the brand's online platforms.
According to Giorgi Meurmishvili, the manager of Lamazi Kosmetic, the idea of creating personal care products from wine came to the director of the company, Chelho Park. He took samples of Georgian wine in 2013 and researched it in a laboratory in Korea for 5 years.
It should be noted that along with Georgian wine, French and Italian wines were also tested, but the founder of Lamazi Kosmetic selected Georgian pitcher wine based on the research.
"After laboratory research, we bought a large amount of wine from Georgia in 2018, and started selling products in Korea in 2020. Lamazi Kosmetic's hair care products are very useful, because pitcher wine contains a large amount of skin rejuvenating substance polyphenols. In addition, it includes about 30 other natural products, the brand is of great interest in Korea, it will soon be sold in the United States and England. We have also exported other minerals in Korea for three years, including Sour Milk, Nabeghlavi, Kobi water. We plan to prepare personal care products from the extracts of those products as well,” said Meurmishvili.
Lamazi Kosmetic's plan is to move production to Georgia and open a brand store in Tbilisi.
