To build the Rikoti Wind Power Plant, the company Taba has been granted 29 land plots in Khashuri and Kharagauli for a period of 49 years under a construction rights agreement.
According to Government Decree No. 538, the company must pay 35,480 GEL annually to the state budget for the right to use a total of 60,065 m² of non-agricultural land.
The document states that Taba must use the property for the construction and commissioning of the Rikoti Wind Power Plant, in line with the agreement signed on July 17, 2024, between the Government of Georgia, the Commercial Operator of the Electricity System, the Georgian State Electrosystem, and Taba LLC.
Taba was founded in 2013. Its shares are split 50-50% between two Netherlands-registered companies:
- Rikoti Energy B.V.
- Anadolu Kafkasya Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş
The company is managed by a 7-member Board of Directors, six of whom are citizens of Turkey and one of Georgia.
