A large-scale Indian wedding will take place this July at the historic Tsinandali Estate, hosting around 300 guests, according to Tamar Kvernadze, Head of Festive and Outdoor Events at Silk Hospitality. The three-day celebration will include nine separate events, fully booking both the Radisson Collection and Park Hotel.
Kvernadze noted that India and other Asian markets are especially attractive due to the scale and high budgets of multi-day celebrations. Beyond weddings, visitors from Asia often spend several days at Tsinandali, explore Kakheti, and engage in various activities, making them high-spending and longer-stay travelers.
Despite the growing focus on Asia, Tsinandali Estate continues to attract many European and Western guests. Kvernadze said the venue regularly hosts visitors from Italy, France, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, and India, drawn by the estate’s diverse spaces and impressive setting.
Meanwhile, the Georgian National Tourism Administration is actively promoting Georgia as a destination for Indian weddings and other large events. It recently signed a second contract with Vivaaah Wedding Parties Organizing to boost Georgia’s presence in the Indian market. In 2025, Georgia welcomed 142,500 visits from India, with total spending reaching 290 million GEL.
