Latvia will provide Georgia with 15,000 doses of vaccine, - Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs said after a meeting with Minister Davit Zalkaliani.
"I am glad that we have contributed to the process. Considering the logistical issue, 15 thousand doses of vaccine will be delivered to Georgia," - said the Minister.
Edgars Rinkēvičs stressed the importance of joint efforts in the fight against the pandemic. The Latvian Foreign Minister spoke about the resumption of direct flights and noted that "Air Baltic" operates flights to Tbilisi-Riga three times a week and expressed hope that traffic will soon return to the pre-pandemic state, which will help resume tourist traffic between the countries.
