The Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee backed the amendments to the Law on General Courts with the second reading on Friday.
The amendments regulate the disclosure of court acts and other public information adopted through open court hearings based on the rule set by the Administrative Code. Nobody has the right to publish the act without its de-personalization. The act is published on the webpage of the Court of High Council of Justice (HCoJ).
The amendments also concern judicial candidacy requirements, assigning judges to other courts, rules for decision-making by HCoJ, disciplinary responsibility of judges and other issues.
