Lelo–Strong Georgia coalition announced on Thursday that the National Enforcement Bureau has frozen the party’s bank accounts.
As Irakli Kupradze, party’s Secretary General stated “we are being attacked by Georgia’s Ministry of Justice, and the National Enforcement Bureau.”
According to him, over five days “the illegitimate government, illegitimate Prime Minister Kobakhidze, the so-called Parliament Speaker Papuashvili and others are carrying out a ridiculous attack on the coalition.”
“In this confusion, foolishness and clownish humor genre, the so-called Prime Minister Kobakhidze has also dragged in the German Ambassador. The German Ambassador, whom Georgian Dream has been actively fighting for years, about whom they made a statement on July 1, 2025, that the German Ambassador should be expelled from the country. This invented madness, which corresponds to Georgian Dream’s political propaganda and incomprehensible strategies, serves two purposes – an attack on the German Ambassador and an attack on that pro-Western coalition that actively fights against Bidzina Ivanishvili,” Kupradze declared.
