Libo Group's Business In Georgian And On The International Markets

Libo Group LLC has been operating since 2003. Nowadays Libo Group is a Leading sales, marketing and distribution company in Georgia, having its own five branches across the country: Batumi, Kutaisi, Gori, Tbilisi, Telavi and covering all the territory of the country. The company serves more than 8000 points of sales, employing about 300 people and having tight cooperation with all chains existing in the market.

As Otar Badagadze, CEO of Libo Group tells BM.GE Libo Group is engaged in offering high-quality distribution, sales and marketing activities to their valued partners.

"For example, Ontex diaper brand of Canbebe is the market leader based on Euronitor international research.

Another success story is the household of Sarantis company, which we represent roughly 65% of the household market share under the brand “Melochi jizni".

Libo Group LLC has also entered the warehouse business and started building up A-class warehouses on 30 000 square meters. One of the warehouses has already finished which was equipped with modern solar panels on the roof. The project indicates how important it is for the company to be eco-friendly and provide renewable energy", - says Otar Badagadze.

Libo Group cooperates with various partner companies whose products are the leading brands. Among these companies are: Ontex Global, Sarantis Group, Ergopack, Dorco Global, Dabur, VGP JSC, Lilagroup, Flormar, Farmaceutici Dottor Ciccarelli and others. We’ve just recently signed the exclusive contract with Levent Kimya on two countries: Georgia and Armenia. The company is the market leader of Turkey in detergent segment.

When asked how the company manages to establish itself in the competitive market, Libo Group answers that there are several factors that give the competitive advantage to their business: First, consistency - dedicating ourselves to predefined goals, distributing the best products at the best price with great customer service. Second, they constantly thrive as an organization to innovate their processes and policies and strive to apply innovative thinking and creativity to everything they do. Last but not least, Libo Group is creating an environment which motivates employees to achieve maximum sales potential and job satisfaction.

As for international markets, the company declares that they are currently represented in several countries, but they plan to expand in the future.

"Three years ago, Libog Group started operation in Armenia and the project turned out to be very successful. Today Libogroup has two branches across the country, one in Yerevan, the second in Gumri, employing about 100 people and the revenue is about GEL 30 million with double-digit increase of sales. We serve about 6000 points of sales in Armenia.

Totally, across two countries: Georgia and Armenia, Libo Group serves about 14 000 points of sales. The Armenian market is quite promising as long as the FMCG sphere is still emerging and the Armenian economy has quite good positive indication. Libogroup Armenia is in active process of adding new companies to its portfolio. We also plan to build up the logistic center in Armenia in the near future", - says Otar Badagadze.
