Confectionery brand Lilisi has begun taking Easter cake orders and says prices will remain unchanged this year despite increased raw material costs.
Co-founder Ketevan Khuntsaria told BMGTV’s Women’s Narrative that demand is rising ahead of Easter, and consumer trust plays a major role in product choice. She noted that although the recipe is refined every year, the company decided not to increase prices to avoid burdening customers.
Average prices for Lilisi’s Easter cake range from GEL 30 to GEL 50, depending on size and decoration.
Khuntsaria said corporate orders - an important business line for the company - are already closed, with around 100 companies choosing Lilisi’s products for employees and clients.
Lilisi continues steady expansion: what began as a team of six has grown to around 60 employees, and the company maintains roughly 25% annual growth. This year, Lilisi aims for 120% growth in Easter-season sales.
