Georgian café and pastry chain Lime has expanded to Batumi, opening its third location after two branches in Tbilisi. Founder Kristine Bubunashvili told BM.GE the company invested GEL 400,000 in the new 200-square-meter venue, which is currently operating in test mode ahead of its official opening on August 1.
Located at 45 Gorgasali Street, the new café can accommodate up to 60 guests across indoor and outdoor seating areas. Bubunashvili said the expansion was driven by strong demand and growing interest in premium confectionery products in Batumi.
The new branch will create 20 jobs, bringing Lime's total workforce across its three locations to around 80 employees. The company expects strong customer traffic, citing Batumi's growing and high-spending market.
Lime plans to continue expanding, with another branch scheduled to open in Didi Digomi, Tbilisi, and a second Batumi location planned within the next two years.
