Georgia’s domestic exports generated $3.286 billion in revenue in January-August 2026, up by 63.5% year-on-year. According to Geostat, locally produced goods accounted for 60.6% of total exports, compared with 45.2% in the same period of the previous year.
The increase was largely driven by higher exports of oil and petroleum products, reflecting increased domestic processing. Petroleum and petroleum products ranked first among domestic exports, accounting for 19.8% of the total. Precious metal ores and concentrates ranked second, followed by ferroalloys.
Exports of wine and other alcoholic beverages declined during the eight-month period. The ten largest destination markets accounted for 65% of Georgia’s total domestic exports, with China, Russia and Türkiye among the leading partners.
Overall, Georgia exported $5.422 billion worth of goods in January-August 2026, an increase of 22.1% compared with the same period of 2025.
