LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) price down by 55 tetri in Georgia since January, - according to Nika Khoperia, the head of Liquefied Gas Association.
As he notes, LPG price has decreased from GEL 1.95 to GEL 1.40-1.38 since the beginning of January.
"LPG price has decreased by 25% compared to December.
The reason for the price decrease is that LPG cost is down on the international market. Russia is the main supplier of liquefied gas to Georgia, and along with the product price reduction, the customs tax was reduced as well, which immediately reflected in the price of LPG on the Georgian market.
At this stage, international liquefied gas prices continue to decline and we still expect a slight reduction in value, "- explained Nika Khoperia.
