Lumier’s will open a new branch in the East Point shopping center on December 12, the company’s co-founder, Emil Kurbanov, announced on BMGTV’s “Business Morning” program.
“We will open a branch for the residents of Varketili and surrounding areas on December 12. East Point is adding new zones, and we decided to bring Lumier’s to this space as well,” Kurbanov said.
The company’s international expansion is in full swing. Kurbanov highlighted the success of the Madrid branch: “We receive many letters about the Madrid branch. We are glad that we brought a product from Europe back to Europe, especially in a city where it didn’t exist before. Just like in Georgia, we were the first in Madrid,” he added.
The central location of the new branch and the city’s Christmas atmosphere, which attracts more tourists, are expected to boost operations. Lumier’s was also first to introduce its product to Istanbul, where competition is already emerging. A second branch in Istanbul is set to open next week, and expansion plans include Dubai, where Lumier’s will begin operations on January 15, 2026.
Founded in 2018, Lumier’s Chimney Cake started with a minimal investment of 300 GEL.
