On October 7 at 12:57 PM, a report was received by the National Crisis Management Center regarding a fire at the warehouse of the "Domus" hypermarket located on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan. This was announced by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
Initially, four firefighting crews from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.
Due to the severity of the situation, a "Level 2" fire alarm was declared. An additional two firefighting crews, two ladder trucks, an operational team from the National Crisis Management Center, standby groups from the Medical Support Department, the Firefighting and Rescue Organization Department, and an on-duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department were also sent to the site.
As the situation escalated, a "Level 3" fire alarm was declared, prompting the deployment of four more firefighting crews from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In total, 10 firefighting crews were involved in combating the blaze, underscoring the seriousness of the fire.
