In 2020, Majorel Georgia, one of the largest international companies working in the field of business process outsourcing, created 900 new jobs amid the pandemic.
As Alexander Mironenko, Director of Majorel Georgia, explains to BM.GE, 2020 was a year of challenges and the introduction of new practices for the company.
According to him, early 2020, the company's management developed a flexible plan to ensure uninterrupted operating of the business and protect their employees amid the pandemic.
In 2020, Majorel Georgia decided to expand its network within the country and opened another new branch in Batumi in July.
"After a year of market research, we decided to open a microsite in the city of Batumi. The new office is for more than 80 employees. As a result of a 6-month pilot project, we decided to arrange a permanent office.
“Our company in Batumi provides technical assistance in German to the employees of the leading E-Commerce Companies in the world”, the director of the company notes.
Majorel Georgia currently employs more than 2,000 persons in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi offices. While early in 2020 the company had about 1,200 employees.
Majorel entered Georgia in 2016, and in 2019 the company underwent significant changes, with the merger of Bertelsmann and Saham - a completely new brand Majorel has been formed, which operates in 29 countries worldwide and has more than 58,000 employees.
