We see green economy as the greatest opportunity of maximal civilization for Georgia and our economy, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated during today's meeting with the Business Association.
According to the Head of Government, the business community's engagement in this direction is of vital importance.
"We have announced the development of green economy as our priority. As you know, we have set ambitious guideposts, though we believe that these guideposts will give businesses an opportunity and, more importantly, time to rearrange their business activities to meet the stricter new requirements. However, I would like to reaffirm our political vision of green economy as the greatest opportunity of capitalization for Georgia and our economy, and here your engagement is of crucial importance," Mamuka Bakhtadze stated.
