Zviad Kordzadze, the lawyer of Lelo's leader, Mamuka Khazaradze, filed a lawsuit with the City Court against the chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Irakli Kobakhidze, for harming Mamuka Khazaradze’s honor, dignity and business reputation.
As he mentioned, Irakli Kobakhidze spread defamatory information about Mamuka Khazaradze, as if Khazaradze participated in "racketeering schemes" under the previous government. According to the lawyer, they are requesting from Irakli Kobakhidze to deny the false information spread by him.
"On September 10, Irakli Kobakhidze spread defamatory reports about Mamuka Khazaradze, as if Mamuka Khazaradze participated in the "racketeering schemes" under the previous government, which is not true. Therefore, a lawsuit has been filed by us with the request to deny this false information damaging the honor, dignity and business reputation. We demand from Irakli Kobakhidze to deny the false information spread by him", the lawyer said.
As Zviad Kordzadze pointed out, they expect that the court will consider and grant the lawsuit.
