The management of Armenia’s commercial banks visited the OVIO Data Center, located in the city of Abovyan, 20 km from Yerevan.

In May 2024, OVIO launched the largest Data Center in Armenia for commercial operation, meeting international standards such as ISO and PCI DSS. The center, situated in Abovyan, includes over 210 server cabinets and is equipped with two independent substations with a total power capacity of 2 MW.

According to the company's press service, the management of Armenia’s commercial banks visited the center to familiarize themselves with its infrastructure and cloud solutions.

OVIO CEO Hayk Faramazyan highlighted the center's crucial role in the digitalization of the banking system and expressed confidence in fruitful cooperation with the banks.

President of the Union of Banks of Armenia, Daniel Azatyan, emphasized the growth of digitalization in the banking and financial sector and the center's potential to meet the increasing demands.

"The center provides convenience and quick access for both local and international clients, offering a wide range of solutions," the statement said.
