Leading Georgian construction and infrastructure company MAQRO Construction has signed a memorandum of cooperation with renowned South Korean architectural firm HEERIM ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS, marking a significant step toward expanding its international partnerships and aligning with global standards.
Under the agreement, HEERIM will participate in MAQRO Construction’s ongoing and future projects both in Georgia and abroad. The partnership encompasses collaboration in urban master planning, architectural design, construction supervision, and project and construction management. The companies also plan to jointly implement large-scale infrastructure projects.
Emin Uchar, Founder of MAQRO Group, commented:
“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our collaboration with HEERIM, a globally recognized firm in architectural design. We already share a successful track record—particularly in the large-scale Azer Gold Project in Azerbaijan, a major mining and production facility. He added that cooperation has already begun within the framework of MAQRO City Tbilisi, and that the two companies are exploring joint projects for a new stadium and airport in Georgia.
