The Municipal Development Fund has announced a market research initiative for the design phase of the rehabilitation of the Tbilisi State Concert Hall, also known as the Philharmonic Hall.
According to the project description, the rehabilitation will include the renovation of both interior and exterior spaces of the building, as well as upgrades to its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The project will also cover the complete refurbishment of the concert hall’s interior.
“In preparation for the procurement process, it is necessary to determine the estimated cost of the services related to the design and documentation of the Tbilisi State Concert Hall rehabilitation project, including the cost of copyright supervision services and the overall project delivery timeframe (excluding the supervision period),” the announcement states.
Interested parties are asked to provide their cost estimates and timeframes in accordance with the attached technical terms of reference no later than July 4, 2025.
The Tbilisi State Concert Hall originally opened its doors in 1971 and remains one of the city’s most iconic cultural venues.
