Markets will not open from December 24. The relevant decision was made by the government a few hours ago.

"Unfortunately, the markets cannot open," said Maia Tskitishvili, the candidate for Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, at a press conference after the end of the Coordination Council.

"The Coordinating Council decided not to reduce the restrictions from December 24 to January 22 to the extent that was originally planned. Therefore, according to the decision of the Coordination Council, the markets will not be opened, but the agrarian markets will continue to operate, provided that the rules are fully observed, "- said Maia Tskitishvili.
