“Meti” plans export expansion as protein bar eyes Saudi and European markets

Georgia’s first protein bar brand “Meti” is preparing to expand into international markets, with initial focus on the Middle East and Europe, according to the company’s founder and CEO Tatuli Okriashvili.

The company is already in discussions to enter the Saudi Arabian market, while also seeing growing interest from international consumers. Okriashvili noted that much of the feedback from foreign customers has been positive, strengthening expectations for potential expansion into Europe as well.

She explained that the product combines taste, high protein content, and healthy ingredients, a combination she described as relatively rare in both local and global markets. This positioning, she said, could help the brand compete internationally.

The company believes this strategy will provide a competitive advantage as it continues to build presence both in Georgia and abroad.
