The "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR) transported 2.7 million tons of cargo in 2023, which was 86% more than the figure of 2022, - according to the data published by the "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (Middle Corridor).
At the meeting held on January 25-26, it was announced that the geography of the route had been expanded.
Currently, 11 countries are represented in the so-called Middle Corridor route, with 25 companies.
The new members of the Association Council were approved at the meeting. Moreover, meetings were held with Kazakh and Turkish cargo owners.
Within the framework of the meeting, the first general meeting of the management of the joint company "Middle Corridor Multimodal LTD" founded by the Georgian Railway, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan was held. The newly established company's organizational and operational activities for the coming months were discussed at the meeting.
