Employees of the Migration Department, in close coordination with the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA), have deported 32 foreign nationals from the country.
According to the Ministry, these actions are the result of a series of comprehensive measures undertaken over the past days, leading to the deportation of citizens of Turkiye, India, Pakistan, Russia, Cameroon, China and Nigeria.
The MIA also confirmed that, in accordance with current legislation, those deported have been barred from re-entering Georgia.
“The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. Its duties include identifying foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds and executing their deportation,” the Ministry stated.
