Company Mineral Jarvisi opened a new enterprise with an investment of 150 thousand GEL in Kvareli.

Irakli Mirzikashvili, the founder and director of the company, says that the production was launched in 2020, and mineral water of Vedza appeared in the chain of Carrefour and Nikora from April 1.

According to him, the enterprise located on 350 sq.m., which currently employs 10 people, can produce water in limited quantities.

"Despite the wide choice of mineral waters in supermarkets, our research has shown that demand on bottled mineral water will exceed the supply by 2022, which has turned out a very interesting opportunity to offer a new product to the market.

It should be noted that "Vedza" is useful mineral water with high iodine content, which is extracted at the area of the river Duruji in Kvareli. Its resource is limited, so currently, the annual production is up to one million bottles. We want this useful substance to be contained in each bottle, so we produce Vedza only in limited quantities," explained the head of Mineral Jarvis.
According to him, the company produces mineral water in 0.75 ml bottles. The price of one bottle totals to 1.99 GEL.

"In 2021-2022, we want to expand the supply of Vedza as much as possible throughout Georgia. We think that in case of full supply, the existing water resource will be completely consumed by the local market”, Irakli Mirzikashvili told BM.GE.
