In April 2024, the industrial output in Armenia amounted to approximately 229.6 billion drams (over 589 million USD), which is 16.6% higher compared to the same period last year. However, compared to the previous month, this figure decreased by 13.1%.
Sectoral indicators in April 2024 compared to April 2023 changed as follows:
- Manufacturing increased by 27%.
- Supply of electricity, gas, steam, and quality air increased by 13.9%.
- Water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities grew by 4.8%.
At the same time, the output of the mining industry decreased by 15%.
