“Our ambition is to increase economic growth to 7%,” – stated the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia during the ‘Dgis Ambebi’ programme on TV Pirveli. The minister assessed the trends of economic growth over the past few years and pointed out that in the recent years there is stable growth and as a result the level of poverty is on the decline. According to Giorgi Kobulia, it is very difficult to increase pace of economic growth to 10% and there are many internal barriers. “I don’t know how to explain – for example, if a car has a maximum speed 200 km/h, it cannot go 1,500 km/h.” – said Kobulia
