"Despite COVID, no negative changes are observed in the employment sector of chain stores," Miranda Manjgaladze, chairwoman of the Georgian Retailers Association, told BMG.
According to Manjgaladze, the retail sector regularly has vacancies of cashier-consultants and housewives and the sector employees more than 30,000 employees in our country.
According to the chairwoman of the Retailers Association, development of the chain store sector has not been affected by the crisis despite the pandemic.
"Despite the COVID, development pace has not been greatly affected by the crisis, consequently negative changes are not observed in our employment sector. We are constantly looking for qualified staff. We can also boldly say that organized market or chain grocery stores are developing. Respectably, we are constantly looking for staff and employing people. We have vacancies on the following positions: consultant, administrator, manager. However, due to the rapid pace of development, it is very easy to be promoted in our sector”, Miranda Manjgaladze told BMG.
