According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, consumer inflation in November this year stood at 1.4% year-on-year. Compared to October, prices increased by 1.3%.
The 2024 state budget of Armenia targets an inflation rate of 4%, with a permissible deviation of ±1.5%.
International financial institutions provide more optimistic forecasts for Armenia's inflation in 2024. The World Bank predicts an inflation rate of 3%, while the International Monetary Fund projects 3.1%.
Earlier, BMG reported that over the next three years, the Central Bank of Armenia plans to reduce its inflation target from the current 4% to 3%. This move aims to align the target with public perceptions of price stability and strengthen trust in the regulator's monetary policy.
