Construction and renovation materials hypermarket Modusi is expanding, opening two new branches, the company’s marketing director, Tamta Darchidze, announced on “Business Morning”. One branch in Batumi will be ready by April, while the second in Tbilisi, on the Akhmeteli Avenue area, will become the largest construction materials hypermarket in the Caucasus region.
Founded over 25 years ago, Modusi now operates five showrooms in Tbilisi and Batumi and offers 60,000 products, most imported, while the rest are locally produced by DAR Capital. The company represents leading brands such as Viko, Panasonic, Electrolux, and Betek. Darchidze emphasized that the company’s success stems not only from its wide range of products but also from a strong corporate culture that values employees and customers alike.
Last year, Modusi achieved a 15% growth in retail and wholesale sales compared to 2024, marking one of its most successful years. The company attributes this growth to both market demand and its customer-focused approach.
With the new branches, Modusi plans to introduce innovative products and expand its offerings further, reinforcing its position as a major player in Georgia’s construction and renovation materials sector.
