According to a study conducted by the Institute for Social Studies and Analysis, 61.7% of respondents think that the country is developing in the wrong direction. Only 34.8% believe that the country is developing in the right direction, though only 12.2% have an unequivocally positive attitude.
Furthermore, the absolute majority of respondents, more than 82%, believe that there is a political crisis in Georgia. 13.2% say there is no political crisis in the country. Up to 78% of respondents impose the main responsibility for the political crisis to "Georgian Dream."
Specifically, when asked who is responsible for the current crisis in Georgia, 78% of respondents blame "Georgian Dream." Among other actors, the following partie and persons were named: Bidzina Ivanishvili (23.6%), the National Movement (16%), and other opposition political parties (16.5%).
The public opinion survey conducted by the Institute for Social Studies and Analysis (ISSA) in January was carried out nationwide; 2000 respondents were interviewed using face-to-face interview method. Respondents were selected randomly. The survey results provide a ±2.2% margin of error for the total sample, with 95% confidence.
