The Government worked hard and we completed this process in December 2015. The EU considered our efforts satisfactory and the visa regime was lifted in about a year and our citizens now travel to EU countries without a visa.
More than half a million citizens of Georgia have made more than million and a half visits to EU countries during these 5 years. This is a tangible result that we have achieved after the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
