Russia is ready to negotiate with the leadership of Ukraine on the neutral status of this country and the refusal to deploy weapons on its territory. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, Putin “formulated his vision of what” Russia expects from Ukraine to solve the conceptual “red-linear” problems. “This is a neutral status and a refusal to deploy weapons,” Peskov said.
The spokesman added that the only question is “whether the leadership of Ukraine is ready for this.” Whether Kiev is ready for negotiations is still unknown.
